My wheel drama continues

Wow, those wheels look 20 years old. I wouldn't reccomend the "black chrome", have another freind having problems w/ his 6 month old wheels.

Isn't it sad when you are so excited that someone actually treated you the RIGHT way when something like this happens? It just seems like that is NOT the norm anymore, I always prepare for a battle when stuff like this happens.

Thanks, everyone. I spoke with the manager at the Am. Eagle distribution whse. and asked which wheels he's had the least amount of trouble with and he told me that he has rarely seen any problems with wheels which have the Super Finish Black. After looking through all of their lines of wheels, I think I've found the ones I want. http://www.bossmotorsports.com/custom_chrome_wheels.cfm?id=350

I'm going to start putting a little kit together so that I can prep them before they're installed. ONR wash, Optimum metal polish and Opti-Seal.

No. The wheels that I currently have are black chrome. The ones that I'm going to get are painted black. It's too bad that they can't get their chroming process for black chrome down. They're really nice wheels.

Ask what kinda written warranty they would give on black chrome.

I'm assuming that the warranty will start all over again. I believe they have a one year warranty.

Glad to see that they are making things right. If PAC is every difficult to deal with our you dread giving us a call I give you permission to put a hammer against my head. Owning a car is supposed to be fun and pleasurable!
