My Very First Detail!

Nice job for a first detail, I'm curious to see what the car looked like under the halogens after you finished out the IP, I know it's your first time but once you really get the nack of working your specific polish in, its quite easy to repeat the process and create outstanding results, "Practice makes perfect!" Car looks awesome btw

Yeah sorry about the lack of "detailed" pics. I only have one "before" picture of the car under the halogens. If I get some time I'll snap a few pics of the car under the halogen. Next detail I'll be sure to have lots of before and afters of the paint under the halogens.

Talking about halogens, I was really really pleased with the dual halogens with the tripod that I bought for this detail. Absolute brilliance.

Great GREAT job on that Bimmer... I'm a Honda/Acura/Lexus guy but that body style BMW has some of the best lines IMHO.

Spectacular turnaround for a first timer!

Great Job!

I just bought a '98 Black 328is a couple of weeks ago. I will need to revert back to this thread when it is warm enough to polish mine.

Thanks again for the comments guys!

I have a question though, it's winter here and it's too cold outside for me to wash the car.

However, can I take the car to one of the touchless car wash places and get a regular car wash there?

I could see that working, but then how would I dry my car?

Do you think that because I have sealant and wax on my car shouldn't get any water spots so I should just drive the car for a while to get it dry?

Thanks.
