My UK renault 182

i've just joined on cliosport about 5minutes ago, with same user name as here.

sorry for all the questions but one more, which is more fun the 182 or 172 cup?

will see you on cliosport more often then ?, yeh im on megs under the same name.



i love the pc, was worried to start with but you soon find there is no way you can damage your paint.

im awaiting delivery of megs #80 and #83 so i just had a little go with clearkote handglaze for now just as a test bed as its quite mild.



as for the cup and the 182, i like the luxuries on the 182, i also like the induction noise on the 182, all in all i prefer the 182, it 's just as quick (if not quicker) as the cup, and has all the goodies, and corners as good. but im looking at getting the new golf gti, just not sure what to do yet:xyxthumbs
 
where abouts in England are you based?

what pads are you using with your pc?

i've only seen one of those new golf gti's on the road nice car to.

would you keep the 182?

apart from the cup packs is your 182 standard?

im using the sonus das pad set



i would sell the 182 hopefully, and yes my 182 is fairly standard except for panel filter
 
im from Essex.

im using the sonus DAS kit to but not had a chance to try it out yet on the whole car, i've just done the bonnet. The pc is fantastic to use i was abit worried at first but its sooo easy.

Do you use lambswool mitts for washing and if so what ones do you use???

What colour 182 do you think i should go for??? i love the racing blue in pics but haven't seen one in real life yet.

i use meguiars wool mits, and the two bucket method (i.e one for shampoo and one to rinse), essential to stop getting unwanted marks.



the racing blue is awesomne, it so unusual in the flesh, people cant help but stare, the only other ones i would go for is inferno, or liquid yellow(1k extra tho), but i think racing blue is the best, and its £300 cheaper,as its a non metallic colour you find that it shines better too, it comes up so much better than the cup ever did
 
Thats a very cool looking Clio, great finish on it too, even pre PC days :cool:



Are those standard wheels with a black chrome finish ?

yeh they are standard renault wheels, and the colour is standard renault, they are the cup wheels though (part of the cup suspension package)
