My UK renault 182

dont know if you guys know anything about this car over there but its a little sporty car in the uk, here is a few pics of it, i will be giving it a full go over soon with my new pc.

Tell me what you think, PS, the colour is darker in real life, it just doesnt photo well

if thats before the pc has touched it, can't wait to see how it shines afterwards. it looks like i could swim in that paint. good job
 
why thank you, i havent set up the pc yet, but cant wait to, im not sure what to use yet but i bought some megs #83 and #80



i used megs nxt wash, then clay, then clearkote handglaze, then poorboys ex, topped up with p21's concours wax, i also top up with nxt wax in the winter
 
That looks awesome mate. I'm from the UK too, ive got a fiesta zetec sport, i got a PC at christmas, just wait til you use it, you'll love it. I'm just about to purchase my first high end products to go with it though. do you rate the p21s?
 
Nice car - I like those sport 182's - nice colour too.



nosluomtnarg - have you tried P21s?- if not you will love it - the ease of use is unbelievable! - spreads on thin like hot butter and just wipes off!! amazing wax!
 
Aup mate, no i haven't tried it, i'm just about to purchase it so can't wait to give it a test if you say its good. What do you apply before it mate??
 
Nice little car you have there - I'd get something like that if I didn't have a family to taxi around! I used to own a Renault 5 GT Turbo once upon a time... seriously good fun to drive!
 
glad you all approve, p21's is very good, but like all waxes there not very long lasting in winter, i do like the NXT wax though, one of the best products i have used in a long time.

yeh i think it really stands out, i got both cup packs (suspension , alloys and spoilers). i didnt go for the stripes because they just fall off, and get in the way of the polishing

i really need to get my pc set up, just gotta go pick up my transformer from the post office;)

Could you guys box me up a Clio V6 and ship it over the big pond? I love that car! We haven't had Renault cars here since the '80s.
 
You haven't just bought that have you? Only I just (2 weeks ago) finished detailing a car, the exact same colour and spec - was very clean when I had finished, the owner wanted me to detail it as they were selling it :)

Before you do, try a search on the P21S / S100 debate, it could save you some money.



182_Blue - Good job :cool: but go easy on the bmw comments :D

182_blue you say you rate NXT too? to be honest i've been thinking of giving nxt a try sometime but with such mixed reviews i've never gone ahead with it. My car is a similiar colour to yours but a bit darker, its imperial blue. so if you rate it on yours i might give it a try. i'm not really bothered about durability cos i like polishing often

yeh on my paint and colour it deffo works, give it a go im sure you will like
 
fantastic car 182_blue, looks amazing. i've seen you on cliosport to.

i should be re-ordering my 182 soon fingers crossed, renault messed me around first time. i just cant decide which colour to go for.

quick question, i've been using nearly all the same products as you but i've been putting on the clearkote hand glaze before the ex is this wrong? i just thought that ex was a sealant.

thx for that, you a member on cliosport ??, you are using them in the correct order by the way, i.e glaze first then ex

I would start with No80 as 83 is quite strong.
