I have a 92' reg cab Silverado. The paint still looks great for the most part. Still glossy and shiny cept it needs a clay bar and also its been keyed and it has fine scratches and a few deep chips and dings and scratches on and around the bed.
It was used as a work truck so it came from everyday use.
The scratches are all around the outside of the bed.
You can barely feel them with your fingernail and you can definately feel the keyed part. I also have a few dings and scratches that are pretty deep.
I was just wondering if the experts here could help me out and point me in a direction. How can I fix all this? Its the only thing keeping my trucks paint from looking great.
Lets try to stay away from sanding and such for right now and maybe give me some ideas on stuff I can perhaps buy that will take care of the fine scratches.
Then maybe some sanding precedures for the scrapes and dings.
Anything really to help me out.
Thanks in advance.
