As with all white its hard to show on camera the results but here it is.



1) Clay

2) Polished out with #80

3) Z1 & Z2 x 3

4) Wolfgang x 3 ( Seems to really make the pearl pop. )

Looks nice, a guy in the town over who works at zippos(car store) has a white one like yours totally done up too.

You should see if you can smoke your rear side markers too to complete the look.
 
Jesstzn. Looks great, I saw a pic of your passat on Vortex did you switch the wheels to the TL or do you have 2 sets. The car looks Awesome!

what made you decide to put Wolfgang over Zaino ? Something I never see anyone doing ? You may have just created a new "wonder combo" :D

Thats the project for next week .. smoke the sides and I have the film on order to smoke the front amber turn signal lenses ... Cold Air Intake on way too.

Totally different bolt pattern than the Passat ones and these have a polished SS lip where the Passat had polished machined aluminum lip .. but same brand / model of wheel .. different lip.
 
very nice! that's a coincidence... i was at the honda dealership today getting an oil change, and right next to it was the acura dealer and i was checking those out as well as the new tsx's. :2thumbs:

Well its like this .. I liked the generic gloss of the Zaino and through a little experimenting I found that Wolfgang seemed to really make the pearl in the TL really "pop" but lacked the gloss I also wanted so I put Z2 on a mirror body .. waited a day then masked off 1/2 the mirror and applied the Wolfgang to one half .. waited 24 hours and added another Wolfgang then pulled it out in the sun .. I removed the tape and I could see the difference in the pearl and the Wolfgang very slightly softened the generic glass shine of the Zaino.



Either that or I need a life and had way too much time on my hands.
 
Those pearl white TL's are some of the nicest looking paint jobs I have seen. that metal flake seems to stand up on end when polished properly. One of the best looking whites available and I can just imagine what your car looks like in person. :waxing:
