My stupid Micro-fiber.Help me

Was this a repaint? I had a black Civic that did this only on the panels that was repainted. It ended up being junky clear coat.
 
this was a aftermarket paint job on this new spoiler and like i said it has always been real easy to scratch.



themighty- I did do a Quick detail with a freshly washed MF and some griots speed shine?

Any of what?



All paints are different IME, repaints *can* be *really* soft and scratch sensitive.

I really like the way they work! I am actually getting ready to order some more. I have ten but that doesn't seem to be enough. I use MF's for my glass. I use the ones from WalMart. They are a waffle weave MF and they are perfect!

I find the Griot's cotton cloths to be quite rough. I was really dissapointed when I got them and there is no way I'm letting them near my black paint. Rather than being soft like a diaper, they feel more like hankerchiefs.

Really? The ones I have are baby's butt soft!! Were they that way out of the box? I have washed mine once and they are still soft as anything!!
 
i have also noticed that my micro-fibers are leaving behind little threads of what looks like the fibers..all over everywhere?? I had just washed my towels on HOT and then dried them on a hot cycle? Im assuming that damaged them from what I have been reading?

I am willing to bet your clear never cured properly. How long did you wait after the paint before you waxed it?
