My Starting Point '01 C320/Couple Years Later '04 E500

This was her first Merc a '01 C320. I was very, very green now I am just a little green :)

As you can see picture angles and camera resolution were at apprentice level ;)

This was my first attempt at detailing. I used a 10" Craftsman orbital buffer with cloth pads. I think I used Meguiars (Walmart) polish and Liquid Glass.... had no idea about claying.
 
E500 First Detail Try a Little Better

This was a couple of years later. Now I was using the PC, Klasse AIO and Klasse HGSG. I still hadn't learned about claying and polishing.

Later on I switched over to Menzerna and used the IP and FPII with LSP being the FMJ. Also, I learned how to clay.

Unfortunately, I can not find those pictures I believe I saved them to a CD or thumb drive before doing a reinstall of the OS :( I hope I did!!!

PAC did put them in their newsletter one I had the Menzerna bottles on the hood and took the picture of the reflection of them.

Anyways, here is my work getting just a little bit better a few years ago with basic equipment and a PC.

I have much to learn and I surely don't compare to the work I have seen posted by some here....also once my garage is built it will be easier it bites having to move around the car to stay out of the sun!
 
Part 2 E500 Detail with PAC Menzerna Products

This morning I found the Menzerna Detailing Pics of her E500. This was after doing more reading, research and buying the Menzerna product from PAC.

I was getting a little bit better using the PC along with the Menzerna IP and FP II then the LSP of FMJ.

I found these products much easier to use than the Klasse products.

When I detail her CLS500 I will post those pics.






 
I love thinking back to when i first started detailing and what i didn't know... actually it kinda makes me sick... like waxing my first car (black) out in the sun without washing or claying it AHHHHH
 
Thanks guys! I got my order in today...set up a new storage bin for all the supplies and thre away alot of old products.

If this weekend is nice I am hoping to give it a try; BF claybar, Menzerna 106 then FPII with LSP of FMJ. I picked up some new LC CSS green and orange 6.5 pads for the PC. Once completed I will post some pics :)
