I am trying to bring my 1974 Super Beetle paint back to life. It was repainted about 7 years ago single stage black and has been outdoors ever since.
Yesterday I tried #83 on an orange pad with the PC, then OP Orange pad PC,
this got the swirls out but there were still water spots etched in.
Then I went to a wool pad on a rotary with rubbing compound, the got the etching out but obviously swirled the paint up some.
At my disposal I have
#82
#83
#7
#9
OP
AIO
#26
S100
Wool pad
orange pad
white pad
black pad
Critique my process
