My RSX all cleaned up and modded (lots of pics)

I'm not sure that it has anything to do with FWD or not but seriously, at what point does the wing actually become functional, if at all....120mph??...150mph??? It's all show....i never said anything bad about it, to each his own, saying you like it is your opinion, but saying it is put on there for downforce or what have you is a ridiculous claim.

Again, nothing against the car....I said it looks good....let's get back on track here..

I usually don't bash people on what they do to their own car, so I won't start now....

Nice houses in the background though, and the paint looks very clean on the car

Yup, I dont critized OPP niether.

Dang, that house on the background, I bet it cost around 2.5 Mil :bow

Well take a leason from Gingy and paint those calipers, is that a reg silver because there isn't much pop to it it might be the lighting but over all i'm not that impressed with the paint except for that last pictutre. I'm not trying to put you do I know how hard it is to get the lighing right and now is the hardest time ( I haven't even thought about braking out the camera) the car it self looks good very nice lowwered How does it handle with those new coil-overs????

the calipers arent gonna be painted cause i have a Brembo Gran Turismo Brake kit shipping in soon... and as i stated, the weather sucked, which is why the silver looks like crap. sorry you're not impressed with the paint.. but when the sun shows its face then you can re-evaluate.. lol:cool: the car handles sick... i take turns more than twice as fast as i used to.. also because im running some really really stick falken tires...

mmm that thing is sexy. black housing headlights, all red tails, the lip kit, the type r spoiler, the wheels, etc. the cosmetics of your car flow real well and you have lots of quality performance mods. Its hard to find a honda that is done tastefully nowadays and you have definately done so. great work! the paint looks good too!:)

Vernon

thanks for the kind words.. i cant wait till the Mugen bug bites.. already has a lil... thanks about the paint.. sun pictures to follow...

Man that's a big wing on that honda RSX! lol....

Love the wheel color combo with the silver paint, looks great.

Paint looks good, but I think you need some decent sun involved to get the true shine to show!

How do you like the PB's wheel sealant?

[edit] I didn't even notice the plate stood for ne-thing, that's pretty funny. Did you buy her the car or something?

thanks... the sun pics will be posted soon. i love the pbs wheel sealant.. in my opinion it makes a difference in looks, and obviously slickness... im taking the rims off tonight b/c crap weather is coming back, so ill apply a couple more coats.. ill let you know how it goes..

and i can't wait to see what it looks like under the sun!

thanks... ive never see the integra in gt4.. i should buy that game.. every1 seems to like it.. what do u thinkabout it?

Looks great!!

I LOVE the wing because it not only looks good but is functional. Anyone who says otherwise can go talk to the Honda engineers :)

thanks... and youre right about it being functional... but only on the track

if you've played GT 3 and liked that game, you'll most likely like it. personally i think GT 4 has improved over GT 3 in the way of the physics of the car and it's gotten even more realistic but is still fun to play. plus the amount of cars available, i heard like 250 or so, makes it fun too. like instead of having the acura rsx as a concept car, you can now get it as a honda integra type-r. and it even has a spoiler that looks like yours. :)

I think the stance of the car combined with the wheels looks excellent. It's funny, you lowered your car, and I just picked up my Jeep tonight from the shop after being raised 4" :)

The wing might have to grow on me.

It's a Honda Integra in Japan.

JDM y0!!

But it's an Acura Integra in America. I've never seen anyone put Holden Monaro badges on a GTO. ADM y0!

I never really understood the JDM fad. Maybe I was never properly exposed/ introduced to it, but what's the point of putting on stock body parts that just happen to come from Japan? The car was built in Japan anyway, so the badges on it are as Japanese as they come.

first of all, i picked jdm as the cars theme, which is why it has jdm oem items, which include honda logos.. the reason why i chose jdm is because jdm, spoon, and mugen are probably the most expensive route you can go when tuning a honda/acura. any car modifier on here can testify to that. soon ill have jdm lsd, jdm cams, jdm flywheel, and jdm clutch. before you know it, the car will be a real integra type r except for left hand drive (which i dont even want)...

so the jdm parts are much better than the stuff that comes on the american rsx's? sounds like a good reason to get them. :)

Ever heard of being unique? Also, the JDM parts are more then just "stock" parts, they're performance parts that we can't get from dealers over here. Most of the Japanese cars we get over here are de-tuned versions.

Then I stand corrected :) Like I said, I was never introduced to it properly so I didn't know.

Navindra, one thing you mentioned made me think: "the reason why i chose jdm is because jdm, spoon, and mugen are probably the most expensive route you can go when tuning a honda/acura."

Maybe I misunderstood this, but you went with this theme because it was the most expensive? I'm sure the price of the product does not always vary directly with the quality and performance. Take Patrick's towels, for example :)

Can't make that RSX look any better. You did a hell of a job.

I'm thinking of going with bronze ggames on my ABP. Are those 18's?

Did you get your Type R wing from Trimking?

well the reason they are so expensive is b/c they are OEM quality... in other words they are made by honda of japan... so when i get the jdm integra dc5 lsd (limited slip diff), and dc5 cams installed in my car, its not going to void my warranty either, which is an added benefit.. if i did toda cams which i orginally wanted, my warranty would be bye bye... so now i get to buy the extended warranty as well... yhey! my car will be covered for 100,000 miles!

by the way, for the most part, aftermarket parts are inferior to jdm oem parts.. mostly... sometimes you'll come across better products such as mugen, spoon, skunk2.. blah blah blah

thanks... yo if u get the bronze ggames ill have to steal them.. lol.. nah but really.. dont u live in longisland? well have to swap rims to see how they look, b/c i was going to get the bronze ones, but it turns out i would have had to wait awhile for them.. i think i might still get them.. i mean damn, this tuning/modding bug bit me, and it bit me hard. i had an authentic type r wing from an integra in japan, but i also have a spoilerdepot wing, which is the exact same, and very high quality, which came painted for 250... good deal.. if you want more info on buying one from them, pm me

yeah no problem. It is functional at track speed/even high highway speed (not that I condone it) but in cars as light as these it provides a hell of a lot of rear end stablitity. Honda type-r wings and mugen wings are windtunnel tested, and if you don't believe me you can get the info from mugen/king motorsports.

and to the guy who asked if his car is fast enough for the wing. haha, yes it is, thats a pretty damn quick car. check out honda-challenge.com if you think honda's are slow, and if you wanna see some wings too :)

lol.. dont even send me to kingmotorsports, ill end up spending a couple thousands if i go there... mmmmm MUGEN!!! sexy
