Hi guys,
I just completed a full detail on my BMW over the course of 3 days. I learned a whole lot more by working with new products like 106FF, Meg's QID, and Natty's Blue.
A little background on the issue:
I found my certified pre-owned 325i on a dealer's lot last fall on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, there were several bird bombs on the paint, and I had no way to remove them, since the dealership was closed.
I ended up buying the car, but not before the bird bombs etched their way into my clearcoat.
The Solution:
I totally overlooked the etching until after I finished my detail. I noticed them when doing the final wipedown. So I took a Griot's microfiber and some Menzerna Intensive Polish. The bird bombs were completely gone after 3 or 4 "passes" with the IP!
I just wanted to let you guys know how well IP worked, and it was completely LSP ready after removing the etching!
