My own car

I think this is my 3rd time doing my own car in the last month. Having little success with the previous attemps, I think I brought it to a level I am willing to accept.

Anyways, here are the pictures:

Hood (where most of the swirls were)

Passanger Fender:

Random:

Process:

Swirls/Scratches:

Step 1:

DACP w/ LC Cutting Pad

Step 2:

SSR 2.5 w/ LC Polishing Pad

Paint Prep for wax:

Klasse AIO w/ LC Polishing Pad

Wax (Sealant):

Step 1:

NXT w/ Finishing Pad

Step 2:

P21S Concurs Look Carnuba x2

Comments and suggestions are always welcome (and encouraged).

I had a real tough time eliminating most of the swirls and minor scratches from my car's paint. Hours upon hours of work to get it to a good enough state where I was happy with it. I tried to put in some real sun spots where they could be seen.

I initially didn't like P21S but now love it, it adds that depth which (IMO) NXT doesn't provide. I like the look to be as wet as possible and may try different things in a few months (suggestions?).

Things like the tires and rims (not really pictured) were done as well. If anyone is interested: AIO followed by NXT on the rims, and Meguires Endurance on tires. Stoner's Invisible Glass on windows. Poorboy's trim restore on trim and fender liner.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice.... I really don't think you're going to get it much better than that short of having someone with a rotary (assuming this was a PC detail) go over it, and then you keep it up from there.
