Any recent experiences - or updates - with Blackfire? Especially if you have used Klasse or Zaino before. Compared to these products, how would you rate it for:

1. Shine

2. Durability

3. Ease of application

4. Feel

Pictures would be nice:D :D Thanks from your friendly neighborhood Lizard.

I'm going to have to refer you to the search function on this one. This topic is discussed frequently enough that there should be ample information if you want to look for it.

Here is my next project. I get chills looking at the pic. I can't get to it soon enough. This is the hood of a 2008 Lexus ES350 in black.

Any tips on a polish would be appreciated. I detailed the car when it was new but the paint was in pretty good shape. As I remember I just used M205 followed with Klasse. It needs a bit more now. X_X

Umm, a good paint shop?

I'm really not qualified to answer, only to guess. I guess a rotary will be needed although a Flex DA might cut it.

And an investment of time.

Ya a paint shop.........The owner of this car really loves black cars. If I were the only one to wash it we would be fine, but they take it to what I like to call the tunnel of swirls. The paint on this car is pretty soft so it may look worse than it is. I'll start with a finer polish and just see how it turns out. It looked really sweet when I first cleaned it up.

Makita 9227, Surbuff pad or Purple wool foam pad, SIP followed with LC white CCS pad then Jewel with Golden Kompressor pad or gray LC pad with 85rd.....seal or top of your choice
