My new to me car!!!

What an awesome buy! One of the all-time great cars and definitely doesn't look 6 years old. The 750il is a holy grail for me. Black on tan factory sport. I will find one, oh yes, I will.



Don't let the haters get you down. There are a couple of common issues with the display, radiator and cooling fan, but that motor and tranny are bulletproof! It is ridiculous that you can pick these up for less than 3 and 5 series of the same year. Just so much car for the money. Well done!

Good buy. My family has owned several bmw's over the past few years and they are truly great cars. My fathers 80ish 3 series made it to 3xx,000 before the axle gave out.
 
Gorgeous, one of the all time great designs! I almost picked up a similar car last winter (gray over black) but after looking into the repair costs (like $3k for struts) I got cold feet. But I still admire the styling and that car sure didnt feel as big as it is when driving it.
 
Yes, they are expensive to repair but if you want to own a 70k dollar vehicle you can't really expect it to be cheap. As to the power question mzmtg nailed it. The numbers are kind of deceptive though as it's 0-60 time is 6.0 seconds, pretty quick for a 4,000 lb plus luxury sedan. Also, I have never been in a car that makes 100 mph seem so slow. Thanks for all the compliments.
 
Congrats!! :cool: My all time favorite BMW design! Its appearance in the James Bond movie pretty much sealed its status as an icon with me.
