My new carbon black car looks cloudy..

I received my new car from the dealer without dealer detail. I have only washed it twice so far and have used the tips read about on this forum.

When I finish washing, the color (very dark metallic blue) does not seem extremely shiny, perhaps even a bit cloudy. I don't know if this is the normal appearance of this color or if it needs some more direct intervention. I have used Pinnacle shampoo, chenille mitt, and blot dried with Waffle Weave MF.

I have purchased AIO and sealant glaze as well as P21S wax but have been hesitant to use them (to prevent unneeded? micro marring).

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

No fear of micromarring with AIO. Its not an abrasive. This is a brand new car you purchased? Its possible there could still be some stuff on it from when it was in transport. What kind of car is it? If the dealer didn't detail it at all and this just came off the ship from Germany or someplace, then its possible there is still some of the adhesive they stick those protective sheets on it with. AIO may help clean that off but there are better products more suited for it that a dealership has access to. It just depends if that is your problem or not.

You still have some cosmoline remover residue on the car that BMW uses. I had it too. AIO took it off. My M3 had it too. It is now clear as a bell.

Nice color btw.
