Well, I asked the dealership to deliver the car to me dirty so I could begin the detailing fun IMMEDIATELY.
I did the interior yesterday morning. I kept it pretty simple so as not to interfere with the new car smell . . .
1. Wiped down all the plastic/vinyl/aluminum with Meguiar's Interior QD
2. Cleaned windows with NTS7 Glass Shield
3. Vacuumed
4. Applied 303 Fabric Guard to floor matts and carpeting
5. Cleaned touch screen and gauge cluster with Plexus

Here's something I never had in my S2000 (a backseat)

Another thing I never had in my S2000 (a useable trunk). In the G35 if you get nav the CD changer moves from the dashboard to the trunk.

For the outside I did a little more . . .
1. Cleaned tires/wheel wells with Meguiar's Safe D-Greaser
2. Cleaned wheels with P21S Gel
3. Pre-cleaned paint with Meguiar's Body Solvent to remove adhesive residue from shipping wrap.
4. Washed with ShMitt and Optimum Car Wash
5. Clay
6. Spot polished with Menzerna PO85RD on a blue Edge 2000 pad (I probably should have done the whole car, but it was SERIOUSLY hot and humid yesterday.)
7. One coat of Pinnacle Souveran
8. Dressed wheel wells with Megs Hyper Dressing
9. Dressed tires with DP Tire Gel
10. Cleaned glass with NTS7
11. Polished chrome with Flitz Metal Polish
12. One coat of DP Wheel Glaze on all wheels
13. Applied DP Spray Sealant to all jambes

Normally, I would use Zymol Vintage on my car. However, lately the ease of use of Pinnacle Souveran has been making me want to use it instead even though I feel the Zymol has a nicer look.
I also detailed the engine bay. I'll post up about that later.
