My Flex DA started to make some funny noises a few days ago. I think that after two years of hard work he is just tired and wants to pass away.
I was going to buy another Flex but decided to try something different. I've got a rotary anyway but haven't been using it that much since i got my Flex although the Flex disappoints me quite often when I need a good cut of deeper scratches. Even Yellow LC pads and Menzerna Fast Gloss combo doesn't cut it.
So after reading a lot I decided to go for a DA which is similar to GG or the Meguiars one (I imagine, never seen these machines as these are not really popular here in Australia).
My question to the experts in this system is apart from Meguiars polishes, what other polishes would do a good job when using the DA/MF (or surbuf) combo? Would Power Gloss, Power Finish, Fast Gloss, Presta Cutting Creme, Optimum Compound ll do it just as good? Of course I will try as these and others polishes that I use but I want to know if I'm getting the best with this guys (as there's a learning curve) or Meguiars compounds are really the #1 option for this system?
I would appreciate the response of detailers not involved with sales of Meguiars products please.
Thanks in advance.
