My mobile rig setup

Don't waste your breath, fellas. This guy is using the forum to try to advertise and promote his product. I've brought it up to David in several PM's. This guy got in a franchise that he is now upside down in, doing what he can to make ends meet and badmouth everyone to make it work. He's gone so far as to directly contact other Autopians in his efforts. Should have saved his money and used a shopping cart with a few spray bottles hanging off the side for his $29.00 detail. I'm over it!!!

My regulators work for me. It's unfortunate that you live in California where yours don't, they want to do things like banning black cars to prevent global warming, and because like you said in another thread, you are in a different world.



Good luck with your venture, but I guarantee you that you are wrong about many, many things pertaining to your little world.

It's not a matter for debate. You have contacted people on the forum, by PM and phone in some cases. You're using the board to market and promote your business. Guessing paying advertisers would want know why you are being allowed to bad mouth the products they sell, the services provided by 99.9% of this board and why you are even claiming to be in the industry??



Everybody is just tired of your crap! You're not truly eco-friendly. If you were, you wouldn't be driving an HHR on regular gasoline. You are being forced by regulations to move in a certain direction while most of us on this board have been using wash mats and other forms of "green" products and services for years, unregulated.



You're not making a point, your alienating the very industry you claim to be educating. Choosing yourself to promote your corporation was a poor business decision. And, to be honest, you're beyond obnoxious and illinformed. Trying to perpetuate your corporate nonsense and talking about your daily meeting with water regulators. I am actually impressed that you can freely walk into and convene the Water Board by merely announcing your presence!!:shocked





I for one, am going to head straight to a California mall so that I can get a shopping cart setup and make $29.00 per detail. OMG, I'm gonna be rich!!!!!

awesome setup man! where did you get that trailer from? I have the EXACT SAME air compressor and reel air hose. I havent installed mine in the trailer yet, but I like where you mounted yours. Im thinkin I may put mine on the roof by my side door. What size tank are you running? I would love to have a smaller one, but I couldnt pass up a $75 deal on my 275 gallon tank! shelves are sweet too.. And where did you get the flooring? really nice.. congrats! I am getting my trailer fully wrapped this week. Black to match my truck and the company logo and phone number on the sides and back! Im excited!

Exactly what I would put together if I could scrape up the money for a trailer, but then I'd need to store it... I already have the 225Gallon tank...



I love the simplicity.



Overhead cabinets with locking doors would be good for all your polishes and pads, as well as some baskets hanging off the wall for all your towels!



Overhead mounted reel for the pressure washer hose and air hose is just DREAMY.



I love it!



What does the outside look like? I want more pics!



Also, are you in love with your vacuum as much as I am? I have the exact same one and MAN is it nice!! Sucks like...well...nothing else I've met yet!



One thing I notice.. Where is your hose for the vacuum? That little black thing draped over the hook? Awwww its so cute a little!!!



The greatest investment I have made in my entire detailing business is a 20' long hose for my Rigid vacuum. That way you don't need to ever move the Vac when you're cleaning out a car! Drivers side, passenger side, rear seats, trunk, everything can just be done quickly and efficiently without worrying about running out of vacuum hose.



I think I paid about $70 for my 20' hose with attachments from Lee Valley Tools - Woodworking Tools, Gardening Tools, Hardware about 5 years ago, and it is still like brand new now! Very good investment.



ENJOY YOUR TRAILER!! We all wish we could have one!

I have never PM'd anyone, at least that I remember.



I reached out to 2 autopians. had a nice conversation with Beau, never ever tried to sway him into my set up ... in fact, and this really does spoil your rant, I gave him information solely on the model. it is true, I did encourage him to introduce the model, and tried to build my case on the value proposition of the model. Get this ... I even shared the contact info for a guy who could enable this model, without a Franchise relationship, very cost effectively.

So if you are to criticize, please tell me to stop enabling "competitors", and how on this earth you find that to be devious, is beyond me.



Please, lead, follow or please ... get out of the way.



Come with facts, accurate ones and not the emotional arguments you present.

PS I do have 3 calls in to the Toyota something or other guy from here in Orange County ... no call backs ... yet. If he does, let's see how that call goes, and how much "selling" of my concept I do ... why do I even bother?
 
Yep, there have been AT LEAST four people I've spoken to that you have contacted. GIve it up!! You are here purely as an opportunity to spam your "Product". You attend these water board meetings, pass out your flyers and tell these people to stop any type of detailing that isn't part of our SuperdooperPrestoWash franchise. I am completely surprised that David hasn't pulled your membership down, since you are spamming on his Board. Further, your recent second sign-on is another violation of The Forum rules. Just move on and keep detailing the teachers cars, claiming it is "Giving back" then accepting payment from a different source.



You ARE NOT an eco-friendly detailer!! You drive a gasoline powered car. I have a fleet of 23 cars, all with wither CNG or Bluetec powered engines. Our businesses promote eco-friendly service. Three of my fleet vehicle produce less carbon emissions than your HHR!!! HHR, too funny!!!!!

However, I do not have a 2nd login, please stop such falsehoods, honestly. as far as the Teacher event, yes some parents did pay, and every dime went to my workers, every dime, and I will not let you take away the personal reward of giving back to my kids teachers, they loved it. Yes I did get my business recognized, but talk to the head of the school and the teachers, they were so happy to get their school in the paper ... pretty clever I thought.



What about the more than 20 Charity Car Washes I have supported. Many Cities have adopted Marines out of Camp Pendleton. many of the events have occurred right at City Hall, I have washed cars arm & arm with the Mayors, got my mug on the City TV ... and raised $150,000. I have personally not profited a dime for all my meetings, best practices, logistics suggestions, local business participation and support and successful implementations ... not a dime. And you my friend will not take that away from me with all the aspersions you cast my way, I won't let you defame my achievements.

What CNG vehicle do you use to Detail out of. I do not claim to be perfect. This whole Eco thing is not a destination, but a journey, to which I seek continuous improvement. I thought I was doing good when I traded in my Pick Up for an HHR ... doubled the MPG to 26 mpg. I looked at hybrids, but honestly, for significantly more cost, did not see the benefit, nor did I find the functional solution ... nothing in that realm seemed to work? Please enlighten me.



I am also considering in the Reduce , Reuse, recycle mantra, that Used vehicles make a lot of sense. rather than buying a brand new vehicle, buying used and giving that vehicle new life ... maybe even sacrificing the whole carbon footprint thing ... just thinking now

I entered the HHR into the Mobile Tech Expo Mobile Rig Contest. I thought it was one of the best booths at the show, very innovative, great blow up shade structure, not to far off the cost of the EZ Ups, but much safer, and WOW, what an impressive marketing statement. All other offerings where if the typical Large Van, or Big ol’ trailer ... yet, i did not win, place or show, not even honorable mention ... does that indicate that it really was not a winner, or that the industry veterans and judges did not recognize future ...
