Well, I'm off this week, so what's a guy to do apart from chill out and relax, eat lots of food, ignore the fact that the grass needs cutting and get down to some business on the car!!!

As some of you would have seen, the car was already looking pretty good from the other day, but this is never enough :p and although today wasn't about doing a full detail, it was just to get the car looking more how I wanted the finish.

So I'll still need to PC the car at some point in the future.

First of some of the products which helped me during the day

Pics resized, strait from the camera.

Some varies bits used.

Thanks guys, in comes in Auto or Manual - but the Auto is the DSG gear box from the Golf GTi so you can have a flappy paddle manual mode too which is cool.

The finish from the dealers wasn't too bad just has a couple of minor scratches on it, which I am still to remove with the PC. I just wanted to get some protection down on the car and make it look nicer as I've only had it 2 weeks now.

Thanks, again. Thomas

That is simply stunning Thomas. I'd better not show your post to my wife as she'll want one like it as she loves the TT. I had the pleasure of detailing a MK1 last year and they are great coupes.

Beautiful work Thomas, love that TT! Audi did their homework on it and it shows. Must be tough keeping it clean in the UK, right?

The weather over here at the moment is pretty dry, so the weekly wash and wax top op should keep it looking well.

I find by time you foam it up and let it dwell for a few mins, then rinse off it's pretty clean, so the wash doesn't take that long.
