My MF make me unhappy

Well I am fairly certain the MF towels are not made to leave micro fibers over everything they touch. My MF have been washed several times in the washing machine and still leave little fibers all over glass and the paint when i wipe with them. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I just got bad MF or someting they were the pep boy's ones can't remember name.

Cheaper microfibers from Pepboy's, Walmart, Discount Auto, etc are known to do this. I recommend microfibers from www.exceldetail.com - very good prices and some of the highest quality microfibers I've used.

Agree w/MattZ28. The only MFs that have ever shed on me were the Target and Walmart ones that some were raving about a couple of months ago. None others have shed, including my Costco MFs or any of the mail order MFs.

I picked-up some MF towels & WW towels from wcdetail.com that were pretty good quality.

Also bought some Miracle Towels from autogeek & Magic Towels from CMA (same towel), they are very plush, pass the CD test, and are 2-for-1 at both sites.

I've never had a linting problem with my Target microfibers.

Winner's Circle and Excel Detail have great towels!

I have three types of MF towels from CMA. All are good at their price points. However..,

I just bought 16 MF towels at Costo for $11 (a great buy). They are soft and plush. I bought them for door jambs, wheels, etc., but they don't scratch paint and there is no linting problem!

Regards,

Dan.

with the CD test, how much pressure should you apply? or doesn't it matter?

CD Scratch Test- with a micro fibre cloth, using medium to heavy pressure rub the surface of a CD. If there are no scratches then it probably wont scratch the vehicles paint surface.

I can't believe we are on page 2 of this thread and no one else has told you to go with Pak Shak towels yet. There are other good ones but you won't ever hear anyone complain about Ranney's MF towels and his customer service is second to nobody. I tried several others but once I went with PakShak I have not had a need or desire to look anywhere else.

Do a search and you will find a countless number of similar comments to mine.

Ahh-hem. Raise your eyes two posts up. ;) Even provided a link.

I also have to add that PakShak carries a very nice line of MFâ€â„¢s (one of my favorites!). When you look at his site donâ€â„¢t be put off by the prices, he offers a very attractive discount to members of Autopia.

Again, here is a link to his site:

And here is a link to a thread that has the price list for Autopia members:

You either enter in the code Autopia when ordering or just e-mail him. Great MFâ€â„¢s and great service.
