My Menzerna Test Run w/Pics!

Kirath...yeah I used my PC with a yellow cutting pad from CMA. Application was a breeze and a little Water/Alcohol spray to wipe it off...didn't have any problems there either. If I had more time, I would've kept working that hood to get that last scratch or two out, but overall I was very happy with the results. Especially considering that the hood took me about 20 minutes to do.

I just used the IP and FP on my friends 90 mazda. He should be sending me the pics and I will post when he does. It was the first time I had used the MZ products and here's me experience:

I used a PC with a yellow CMA pad for the IP and a black CMA pad for the FP. PC settig on 4 as per instructions.

1) Messed up right away by using too much product and the result was that glue like black stuff from the FP. A little more water seemed to clear that up.

2) Quickly learned use less product and kicked the pc up to 6 made my life much easier. phew

3) His paint was oxidized badly ( wish I had pics, but will post them soon as I get them) and it came up nicley with the IP and FP combo. However there were swirls that I could just not pull up no matter what I did.

So my question do you guys reccomend I try before the IP. Would a DACP be more effective before the IP? Or should I get something else? any thoughts or ideas?

thanks

thanks jgv I actually have already read that thread however I it is my understandig that they will not sell to a consumer only a dealer which I am not. CMA doesn't carry it and I am not quite sure whereelse to get it at this point and I should have mentioned it above but I am looking for something more obtainable. thanks

I was thinking of maybe 3M fine cut., then the IM and the FP. hopefully that combo will yeild the results I need. If anyone thinks otherwise I would love to hear why. thanks
