My Klasse vs. Wolfgang test. I'm so on the fence

Has anyone compared the Klasse Twins (wax) product to the Zaino(wax) products, and if so which one is the better product. Also any suggesting on what I can use to clean my fabric top.

If you start two new threads, one for each of your questions, I (as well as others) can give you some detailed answers. We shouldn’t hijack montoya’s thread.

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

1. Cleaner (303â„¢ Fabric & Vinyl Convertible Top Cleaner) to remove soiling, stains and atmospheric pollution for both natural and synthetic materials.

2. Fabric protector (303â„¢ High Tech Fabric Guard) to re-proof and preserve fabric tops from the effects of water absorption, surface soiling and staining, and provide a sunscreen from UV radiation and subsequent fading. The best cleaners are formulated from low-pH (low alkalinity) and gentle enough for repeated use over years. They will rely on proteins and enzymes for their safe, but effective, cleaning power.

Alternative products- Raggtoppâ„¢ Vinyl / Fabric Cleaner and Raggtop Fabric Protector or the Porsche Tequipment Convertible Top Cleaner

~Hope this helps~

Comparing Klasse and Wolfgang is an apples and oranges thing. IMO Klasse is in the Zaino and Menzerna category while Wolfgang groups with 4Star (Platinum), Blackfire, Poorboy’s. NXT, etc.

The end results are dependent on many factors: color of the paint, condition of the paint, application technique, lighting conditions, user expectations, product used.

I haven’t done a lot of experimenting with Wolfgang, but in my experience it falls into the top of its group along with 4Star (Platinum) - - way above NXT or Blackfire.

IMO if you ever decide that one product is “best, or if you are still using the same products and techniques that you used a year ago - - - then you do not deserve to be called an Enthusiast Detailer!

Experiment, learn, and have fun!

well I tore the WG SG down with Meg's #83 DACP and re-applied the WG Pre Polish (white pad) and 2 coats of WG SG (grey/black pad) and I'm sorry to report but I still have that "salad oil" finish as opposed to my former very "wet looking" Klasse finish..

so this weekend, I'm gonna tear it all down with DACP and re-apply Klasse AIO with 3 coats of SG..

at least I found the answer..
