My Jeep 5 months after only 5 washes no QD or anything

These pics are 5 months after. Here is a bunch of pictures of my Jeep after I washed it yesterday. I detailed it back in June. I have not waxed it or used any qd's at all.

My process in June was

Wash tires and rims with Pink Stuff (Best Cleaner and Degreaser)

Compound with rotory/wool pad with Presta 1500 polish (polishes like glass)

Wash with fk1 car wash to get all the dust and powder off

106ff with pc Lake Country white pad #6 (this stuff is amazazazazing)

fk1 2180 pc black pad #3

fk1 1000p 3 coats

fk1 pink wax 2 coats

I must have to say after 3 days It got even glossier and was dripping wet. I have only washed it like maybe 5 times ( i know I am bad, but I am a busy man). I washed it yesterday with fk1 wash and wax and dried it off. I have not used any detail sprays or anything on it since June. I must have to say that I am quite impressed with the fk1 stuff.

Now I am on my way to try the Z-5 Pro next detail when I get it. I love new products.

I wish it was sunny when I took these pictures. All I have to say is 3 coats of 1000p is bulletproof. Now I have to strip it and I am going to try the whole zaino kit that everyone talkes good about. If its better than Fk1 1000p than I am going to blind the hell out of people. But remember all that shine comes from the hard work from the prep. Presta and menzerna 106ff were the key factor

Looks good!

You should either do a 50/50 IP/Water wipedpwn of use ZPC before you apply zaino after using 106ff. :xyxthumbs

Very nice! Honestly, with those results, I am not sure I'd try anything different, going to be real hard to improve on that!

However, since you are going to, pics and your thoughts are expected. ;)

Thanks! As much as I love the fk1 stuff Especially the 1000p and pink wax, I just have to try the new Z-5 pro and Z-2 pro, Just to see what all the hype is. I will definately post pics. Probably won't be for a couple of weeks. The only thing that sucks is the before pics will look good. I forgot to mention also I had some pink stuff degreaser in the bucket when I washed it cause it was so damn dirty. It still did not even budge the 1000p. I might have to wet sand and then take pics of it all powdery:cry:

Just giving a feedback on the durability on this Jeep that I own that I did 7 months ago. The gloss and slickness are still there. I still cannot believe this!!!!!! The 1000p is just amazing, especially a well prepped surface! Anyone wondering about the claim of there 1 year durability it is very close to true so far. Only been 7 months and the water beeds great, I put my paper coffee cup on the hood and it slides right off with ease. Definatly the best wax that I have used ever. Oh ya, the gloss is still through the roof also..

Nice detail, and I must agree, Presta does polish down real nice, unfortunatly i only ever got to use it at the dealership I used to work at, long before my obsession started...

First, Welcome to Autopia! Yes after trying all different polishes the past couple years I have to agree that presta ultra cutting creme, ultra cutting creme light, and chroma 1500 polish finish out better then anything I have tried. There 3000 glazes do stink though. I just ordered a gallon of the ultra cutting creme light today and it works like magic. It's one of the only compounds that I have used that finishes out to an extreme gloss that will not wash away. LSP's will last longer also.
