Just thought I'd share some pics of a 7yr old GTI. My dub turned 100k miles today so I gave it a nice detail:

Basically I used the Porter Cable (though not today)



A coat of Klass and two coats of Megs #16.



I touch up the wax after each weekly wash. (yes I wash every weekend)

taken care of. BTW, are those ABT rims I see there?
 
awesome car man.. im a VW nut myself. i have a 20th anniversary. but i had 2 Mk3's before and i would die to have another one again. paint is looking fantastic too. i think you should put on the euro vr6 front spoiler.. it would really set it off.

Hey thanks. So you like the MK3 better than the MK4s? How so?

I would think the MK4s are more refined though a bit roomier.

that's awesome you were able to take a picture of the odometer at exactly 100,000 miles. you VW looks great for car with that much miles! keep it up. :xyxthumbs
 
I drive by a VW dealer twice a day, that car looks better than new. Amazing it has that many miles.



One of the cooler things about being an autotopian is the look one someones face when you tell them how many miles are on your car.
 
Car looks great. I'm envious. My 1st car was a A2 GTI ('86) and I still miss it. What is the real "code name" for that car. My buddies and I would call yours an "A3", you're calling it MKsomething?
