Here is my friends black RSX....i used the PC and Rotary with Meguiar's #85 on a red cutting pad.....then i used the PC with a polishing pad and VM.....topped with PB EXP....

i dunno....i like some parts about it...it's pretty easy to get swirls out of it...but the paint seems kinda thin...looks really nice when maintained....i have nearly the same color on my car...so it's one of my specialties....



thanks for the compliments guys....i wish i had more time on the car....but i was doing it on tight time and a tight budget....he was getting it detailed for the prom the next night and i just concentrated on the paint to get it back to new....he cleaned out the interior and stuff so i could give him a good deal.....
 
Nice job. Looks like you have plenty of light for those late night jobs. RSX looks awesome as well as your accord sitting next to it.
 
Good job... question though. Do you still see slight scratches in the paint? I just did my black 00 Integra and I still see slight scratches. I guess they're really deep yet I can't feel them with my fingernail. Black is so hard to fix!!! :angry
 
Nice work. I've done my friend's RSX and that color is a really interesting metallic dark blue that pretty much looks black. The paint is somewhat thin on them though!
 
Love to see an RSX brought back to life.



He's got all the goodies too...OEM spoiler kit, JDM headlights, redout taillights, etc.

which was used on headlights. i need tips for improving my black rsx, PAINT AS WELL. what do u suggest for removin swirls
