My Foam Gun Review - Long & Lots of Pics

I used mine for the first time this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I hope to have a process nailed down after a few more tries.

I have been eyeing those mitts at sheepskin.com.
Can you tell me how you like them? Are they soft and thick?
 
I got mine and tried it out over the weekend.....What I felt is I sprayed the car down and it spreaded the soap even....I still had to wash the car with a mitt and soapy water bucket....much like I would anyway.....was not a huge time saver IMO....I do wish that it would shoot farther as I wanted to use this for washing the windows on the house....all in all its still a good addition to my detail stuff....I can see a use for it for certain applications
 
The most beneficial application which really contributes to marring free results is to keep the soap flowing over the paint while you whisk with the mitt. This acts as a cleaning and lubricating barrier between the mitt and the dirt.
 
Can this gun tackle mudd and heavlly road salt on the areas like in the rear qt panel and the front(lower radiator parts).

yes but you would use the deflector tip which would narrow the stream and create more pressure...they can be use to clean house exteriors and driveways with the deflector tip
 
Nice write up. I love my foam gun as well. I use it mainly for presoaking the wheels & the wheel wells.
