I'd say it'd be pretty close. Locally, a Mach1 with mid pipe and catback has been putting some carlengths on stock 5.7 GTO's. It would be close with 6.0

The GTO is certainly understated. I think it has a mature elegance to it. It also doesn't hurt having the LS2 under the hood with identical output to the C6 Corvette for $25,000 less.

In all honesty, and this is coming from a guy who bleeds Ford blue, the GTO is a great car.



It's not in your face like a WS6, but it certainly is not a grand prix, just kinda looks like one. It performs well, has a great interior, and looks good after a good detail job.



Anyhow, this is detail site, so back to that, anybody have suggestions for improvement on the bullitt?

Pat, you didn't mention it'll whoop the bullitt....jk. only detail improvement i could think of is get rid of those swirls!
 
Well, second coat of Zaino is this weekend. And third goes on a week later. If I don't love it then, we'll hit it with poor boys with a PC, then I'll Zaino again.
 
Both cars look great. It is hard to beat a clean black stang.



I have not had any run ins with a GTO yet, but I am sure its nothing a little boost wont handle. :cool:
