My first time: Bodywork, Wet sanded & Polished (tons of pics)

Thats some nice work there man! It reassures me that if you can do it (being new and all), I surely can do the same thing to my simple little Civic.

I am gonna wetsand (done it before) and polish (never done it before with a rotary) my civic since I did the $100 paintjob and have some orange peel around the car.

THANKS for showing us this, and thanks for letting me know I can do this! Shouldnt be too hard, just time consuming. I am just gonna do 1 panel @ a time and go from there.

I am extremely impressed!

Everything is excellent from the fiberglass, to the wet sanding, to the polishing and compounding. Let alone being your first time, those results are perfect for anyone on here.

That's basically my intentions of this post with pics and a basic walk-thru....if you take your time, do some research, try different things and use you head....it'll work out. What's the worst that can happen? you have to repaint a panel you already repainted. lol

Great work. Awsome first time results too.

I would go with the black finishing pad/ PO85RD combo when you polish again to get the most out of your work.

Still looks like a mirror

Outstanding work and sharp looking car. I love the hood (my GTP has it) but it's a pain for collecting water and being stubborn about giving it up!

Awesome job :xyxthumbs
