My first REAL click& brag (02 Acura RSX)

Very nice and wet paint! Makes me lean toward getting a rotary even more! 01bluecls, I think i am gonna give those menz polishes a shot once i get a rotary.

01blue i was thinking of getting the 106FF, know any good places to get it?

So either white with OP and i can finish with 106FF

What about orange and OC can i go straight to 106FF or OP first?

I think Gray and Poli is working to get rid of holograms but i hear there 6000 grit so shouldnt be to hard to get rid of huh?

I tried the blue and poli once and the poli disappeared right away lol

I believe CMA and autogeek sell 106FF I believe. I would try orange and OC then try blue pad with 106FF. This is assuming you worked the OC down well enough and didnt leave tons of marring behind from that combo.

mmm so i can go straight from OC to 106FF? thats very interesting, do u put as little amounts of 106FF as u do OP? thanks for the all the help man appreciate it.

I have soft honda paint so i dont need to go OC just yet lol but 106FF has been in my brain since i joined autopia

I have an 2001 Acura CL-S in pretty much the same color as your car. I went from Orange cut pad with Hi-Temp EC to using a blue finishing pad with 106FF. EC I find finishes down very nicely compared to most highly aggressive to middle aggressive polishes. Now my experience will not be everyone's. I have used the rotary many times and havent used my PC in a long time now. With the rotary it is practice, practice, practice, and then when you think you have it down, it takes more practice! LOL :) Hope this helps.

practicing on my car, that explorer i did i actually got paid for and i just started using my rotary after not using it for 3-4 yrs

Heres some new pics after a wash and some polishing in some places, ( i think im finally able to finish with OP and white, i used even less polish and worked it outside lol) and i got to try #26 and i gotta say its pretty sharp
