Long time lurker here, hobby detailer. I've mostly used Zaino. I try new products every year to keep things fresh, Most recently have been using the Ultima PGP, Collonite 845 and the dura gloss line, then back to Zaino as a base. I couldnt resist the claims of Opti-coat so I took the plunge. One word.... WOW! Spent about 5 hours prepping the car (wash, clay, wash, dry, polish, inspect, polish again, IPA) I used the Optimum finish polish with the black foam pad for the polishing, Paint was in decent shape. I Achieved about 95% correction. I thought more, but after applying the Opti-coat I noticed some minor imperfections. I'm not super concerned with 95% as it's my daily driver, not a show car. This was tough for me as I get my "peace" from shining up my car but I purchased the Optimum car wax to put over the opti coat. What else are you folks using to top tOpti-coat? Here are some pics.. Application was pretty easy (I'm used to Zaino, lol)
