how do ya like it?
well, i finished detailing my mom's ML 320 this weekend, check it out. it took me two days, because on saturday i was dead tired from studying till 2:30 the other night (im a good student :)) HOWEVER, i think i made the wrong decision, beceause on sunday it was burning hot. but (and there is a but) i came up with my most brillant idea. when i was doing the interior of the car, i turned the air conditioner on. MUHAHAHAHAHA im an evil genius. anyway, ill start with this pic. shows you what i was working in...
 
i like big butts and i cannot lie. anyway, if you see the relfection, its my dad's snap on truck, and his cone. i didnt notice that till now.
 
This is one obsession that I get no complaints about because everyone in my family benefits. Looks to be the same in your family. Nice job.

BTW - Good idea on running the AC. I thought about it, but also read somewhere that the leather needs to be warm before conditioning. If I am mistaken, then I spent too many sweaty weekends applying leather conditioner to my cars' interiors.
 
the hood was by far the worst part of the car, so i went full on with DCAP, SSR1, NXT, and topped with some mothers pure wax (a substitute till i can get nattys or #16). as for the rest of the car, the condition of the paint was already pretty good, considering i had done a full detail of it about a month ago. after washing and claying, it just needed a reaplication of NXT, and today im planning to follow up the NXT with the mothers polish. i wanted to allow the NXT 24 hours. if youre wondering why i didn't allow the hood 24 hours for the mother's polish, i did. i washed and did only the hood on satuday, and in sunday i went over with the QD, and NXT'ed the rest of the car


HOWEVER, wouldnt you figure, today it rained. i guess that just means that i have to go over it with QD again, before somethign bad happens to the paint
