My f-i-l's car

Detailed my f-i-l's car today. Used Wetley's Bleche -White to clean the tires. This product does a number on the tires. no doubt when you're finished with the tire brush your tires are ready to be squirted off. As much as I like this product I've read on here that it's bad for the tires over a long period of time. All I can say is that I've been using B/W for over 20 years and I've never noticed a problem. I dressed the tires with Meg's Hot Tire Spray(I think that's the name). It has a decent gloss but it's not Bazooka. I washed with BubbleBath. It's a nice shampoo. Suds up well and the lube is satifactory. No problems rinsing off. Next I clayed with Mother's claybar and Showtime Detail. This car hasn't had anything but washes since last fall. Mother's is the only clay I've ever used and I'm satisfied with it. Next I washed again. I used the SuperSoft WaffleWeave Drying Towel from Dwayne. This towel absorbs water unbelievably. When i was finished drying the towel was damp but not what i would call wet. To clean and polish the car I used Poorboy's PwC. Easy on easy off in the sun. This is the first time I ever did a section at a time. I usually do the entire car then wipe off. I wanted to look at each section to see if I could notice a difference. Well I could. The PwC added a definite gloss to the paint. Then I lightly went over a section with VM. I applied as little pressure as I could. I didn't want to take off the PwC. After wiping off a section i compared it to a section with just the PwC. The VM section still had the gloss but it looked wet and had depth. The hood and trunk looked like you could dive into it. Once I was finished with the VM application I added EX-P. I forgot to bring Poorboy's supersponges(uva, auv I don't know) so I used a yellow foam applicator. It was hot out and I was in the sun. I soaked the aplicator I water and wrung it out. This product had no problem whatsoever. Went on smooth and an hour and a half later came off just as easily. His car is a dark metallic bluish gray. The EX-P enhanced the gloss, kept the depth and wetness while adding clarity. It's getting dark now so when my f-i-l sees it he won't be able to appreciate it. Tomorrow I'm adding another layer of EX-P. I almost forgot. I used 3 micros to remove each product. aAgreen micro from Dwayne. A blue plush from Poorboy and a gold towel from Nick (Adam). All three did the job. Not one "gummed" up. All wiped off the product with no extra effort. Recommendation is you can't go wrong with any of these towels.Although I do believe Adam's was/is a dollar more.

Seen my mother-in-law for the 1st time since I did their car. She said it looked like new. I told her when I get finished with it it'll look better than new. I told her I needed the car for 3 more days. Told her two more coats of sealant and then a wax job. I'll finish his car next week.

When the Keeman and I hook up and he schools me you'll see pics until then use your imagination. :)
