Isn't the storage container that you have your towels in great? I've got a similiar one with two drawers and I love it!

yeah man its awesome... got it as lowes for like $9

cant beat it!

I had a few Meg's products back when I was 17, but nowhere near a collection like that. Might have had some Black Chrome too. Oh, and some Turtle Wax rubbing compound. Enjoy building your collection.

Jakerooni: Giving and seeking advice are what these boards are mostly about. However, telling someone they wasted their money is not advice. The only reason to say something like that is to make yourself feel superior or to make AJ feel dumb. I hope AJ doesn't feel dumb because he shouldn't. I would dare say just about everyone on this board, excluding yourself, started with Meg's or other popular OTC products before discovering professional line products.

What was your purpose for this post? Sounds pretty condescending to say the least.

Just responding to your eloquent post. Condescending? Likely. You'll live.

AJ,

Someday you'll look back at what you have now, and it will look puny. At 17 I had 2 cans of wax and a bath towel to do cars with. I also used a 5 gal paint bucket that I cleaned out for washing as well. I used to shoot 3 pointers into the wash bucket, but I would miss most of the time and the sponge would be laying on the driveway while I finished rinsing the car.

There is much to learn, but you seem to be on your way. You've got a better start than many people here have.

Nice collection! Curious to know how do you like Megs high gloss endurance tire gel?

it works pretty well... you MUST wipe off the excess or you will have MAJOR SLING. Also, if you want more of a matte look, 1 coat is all that is needed. Apply more coats every 20-30 min for desired level of gloss.

I have to agree that what you have is great and will also add that it doesnt much matter what anyone thinks of YOUR stuff on this board. You are the one that has to use it and it looks like youre getting some nice results with your approach! You should be proud man!

I get crap all the time for the products I use because I use mostly PRO Car Beauty for most of my product along with 3M, Adams, and some other stuff. Ive been told I should use name brands.......LOL! Bottom line, I use what I am comfortable with and what keeps my customers happy and I know will last them a while. What do I know though, Ive only been detailing for 17 years, but Im never too proud to admit I still learn something new almost daily about our art!

Cheers!.................................................C;)

You have alot of products there. Some I would not bother to purchase. Where is the ONR,and the MENZERNA? Grit Guards? Clay Bar? Folex?

Just a few of my personal favorites. As stated by some others, it does not matter what you use. As long as the client is Happy. But you still can use the most efficient and latest

products. This will also improve the final results.
