Hail the power of Quattro
i was able to detail my audi today. i know i did it last week, but i was able to get ahold of some souveran paste wax thanks to a very generous member on this site(thanks again cwcad). last week i did a full job, so this weekend i just washed and waxed. i washed with Meguiars deep crystal car wash. then i pulled her into the garage to apply the souveran. it went on very easily and hazed up rather quickly. the only problems/complaints i have about this product is the wax dust it creates and the way it accented the rock chips in the hood. other than that, it was very easy and problem free.

here are some pics. i am very happy with the outcome and got looks everywhere i went today. got a couple fo good comments too.

hey you!! that is a terrific look that you produced for that audi. i got my wife to get up and look at the pictures and she asked why did he take a picture of a mirror.

being a non-detailer it was hard to make her believe what you had actually had done.

as far as the souveran is concerned the real thanks must go to another. Mosca is his name. he frequents other forums but it does not matter. the generousity that he showed me opened my eyes to a complete other side of detailing. that not only can opinion's and ideas be shared but products as well.

just pay it forward....

I, too have been the recipient of Mosca's generosity & as good as it made me feel to receive new products to try from him, I've found that sharing with others yields a really great feeling, too!! I'm glad to see that others have joined the "movement"!! Thanks, Tom!! :bigups
 
If I saw you on the street I 'd give you good comments also. way to go ..I'm a bimmer man myself and must say Audi's are looking better all the time..

Ain't tht the truth!! I was going to respond to the thread on that other site then the thread was closed. In this case mite makes right. nothing you can do about that

Mosca, just keep on posting. From the sounds of it your reach has touched other people far beyond that other site. :cool

I've only polished it by hand. I worked the polish in as best as I could. My buddy has a PC and when I get back from my trip, we're gonna see how much it improves the shine I already have.
 
Great job on the Audi... But I don't understand why you attached the one pic looking down your street, without the car even in it.... :rolling :lmfao :mohawk
