this is my 2003 honda civic EX, its beige, and has 105,000 miles on it.. i bought it with 81,000 may 4th 2008, and the dealer covered it in buffer trails, not deep thankfully. the paint is typical honda paint, soft, scratches easily, swirls easily, but i got most of my correction out of meguiars #9 followed up with 3m ultrafina several months ago a short time after i bought my PC. in these pictures accept for the whole car pic with the liscence plate covered up it has 2 week s100 on it, topped with collinite, just a few hours old when i took the photographs. i sat back and admired it my still pretty much swirl free paint and decided to take pictures... this time with halogens, because whenever i post pics im always told to use halogens, so i did. and here it is, several months after polishing with very non agressive products.. no glaze used...

and heres the legendary collinite beading ^^

and thats it, thats my car that takes me to and from school, about 80-90 miles total a day 4 days a week. gets washed once or twice a week. and waxed more often than i care to admit :-) ha. enjoy

Looks great, hard to see it has that many miles on it :-)How about some interior shots or pics of the whole car? I think that would impress more members here..

i dont keep the interior as nice as i should.. its a college kids car, and is always full of stuff.. and the person who owned it before me had kids... so yea. ill get some pics of the whole car up, its raining here for the next few days, so not until thats done, i have one more full car shot ive posted here before somewhere. i think in my wax test actually.. the collinite i used for these pictures is 845, i love it. beads increadibly..

heres my motor, which isnt super clean, but it looks okay.

Looks good, I'm surprised you found #9 to work best, I guess that paint is really soft!

# 9 did do some correction for me..ultrafina got it the rest of the way to this point.. its still raining here.. supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so ill clean it up and try to post more pics.... i think this thread would be more interesting if other people posted pics of their daily driver too, and told us a little about it as i did. anyone have any pics to post?

nobody has any pictures of their daily driver they want to post up? come on people

Here's mine. 2005 Civic Hybrid, Galaxy Grey Metallic. I don't let anyone eat or drink in it, and it still looks brand new. Whenever I pull in for an oil change, the workers ask me if I ever drive it much, as it's so clean and shiny. The last pic is the odometer, which shows the average fuel economy: 60.5 MPG. I had to borrow a friend's camera to take pics and used it rather poorly.

no. you can post as many pics as you'd like i think.. i do it through photobucket... you can send the pics to the site through an e mail, n copy n paste the "IMG HTML" from it directly onto your autopia post... thats a nice clean looking civic too :-) i like the color much better than mine... any more pictures? anyone?

Man look at all the products! Your sitting on at least $1000 worth in products haha, Thats remarkable for that many miles, Ive seen customer cars, with arm rest torn apart at 30,000 miles. Great beading shot!

i was actually thinking of installing some tint..debating weather or not to try it myself, or have a pro do it... i think i just wana have someone to blame when i mess it up ha..i got figure out how dark im allowed to make it so i dont get pulled over too.. do you have any pictures u can post on here for us to see BigAl ?

detailnbydustin. ive actually revieved a lot of that stuff as "samples." Most of my surf city stuff was free.. i bought one bottle of tireshine, 8 oz of leather rejuvinator. and one shine on package from them.. i asked tim miller about some issues i was having with the shine on package, in reguards to poor beading and durability, so he said he'd send me out a new package, thinking i got a bad batch, which i did, the new batch is much better.. the package i got was huge and full of their stuff.. he did say he would send me some "samples" but i never expected to get all that.. a lot of it is very good stuff. Tim is a very nice guy. thanks for the comments everyone :-)

i don't have any pics (no digi cam) but my satin silver vic has medium tint all the way around (i like a uniformed tint shade). trust me, not only does it keep the interior alot cooler and help protect it, but looks alot nice,r and compliments the overall appearance as well...

don't know if you've checked out this site, but here's one for vic owners...
