The car is a 98.5 with about 61k miles, and is left outdoors 24/7. It had 2+ month old WG on it that was still beading great (only QD'ed 2x). But with all the rave reviews I decided to try the VM / EX combo. Steps
wash with NXT wash
hood / roof / trunk DACP w/yellow pad, PC on #6 (removed with terry towel)
Meg's Gold Class wheel cleaner
Whole car- VM wth white pad on PC, speed #6 (decided to see what would happen using a high speed) removed with MF
Whole car- EX by hand. Let dry 30 minutes then removed with MF
trim / tires dressed with EO tire shine
i have to say this really is an excellent combo on silver! Very bright, very clear the metallic really jumps out. The WG definitely muted the metallic more than EX.
