My car smells like feet !!

Friend of mine (no it's not me) has some funky foot stuff goin' on. So about a week ago, he was in my car for about 15 minutes. Now it's been a week and the smell is still there. It goes away when I use the heat and the fans are flowing, but when I turn it off, it kinda lingers.

Looking into Wurth's A/C spray and/or Febreeze. I'll probably leave the windows open tonight, hopefully some of those demons will leave. Any suggestions ? TIA
 
What the heck did he do take his shoes off and rub his feet in your carpet? Better get it cleaned out before someone thinks it is you.



Try some frebreze. If that does not work I say clean everything. Seats, carpet, ect... And leave the windows down not up. ;)

i would try meguiars odour eliminator, and maybe some febreeze if it still sticks around....remember not to let him in yo car again!!
 
For a while a go I had the same problem,turned out to be

The A/C system. I rinsed out the flowing vents whit some A/C

Cleaner.And the smell was gone

Humidity can couse fungus, And that smell like dirty feet. :)
 
If you have access, hit up a carpet xtractor and just give the offending piece of carpet a quick shampoo.



This is wht I love about the little green. Might not be the most powerful extractor, but when someone tracked mud into the car (RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR) a week after I shamppoed the carpets, I just mixed up a little soap and shampooed the dirty area...took less than 10 mins.
 
Thanks for the tips guyz. It was one of those wet dank days when those feet were in the car, so maybe that contributed to it. I left the windows open last night and I guess the dry cold air took some of it out because it's fading. I'm going to change the interior filter (over a year old) and pick up some of Meg's spray and Febreeze.
