I made this concept with an engineering program ("catia") afterhours 1 1/2 years ago. It took a bit more than a month. It's seriously time to show it.

It has 1.612 parts without Interior.

I hope you like it! Take a look:

Wow, that is very cool. I wish I could do something like that...why don't you help design the 2007 Camaro? :D :D

Because of the masters degree I don't have, no company would hiring me. On the other hand I do know how to get a car into production 12 times faster and cheaper. (Of, course I'm not the only one.)

In my view all major carmakers are too traditional sometimes, or going into the wrong direction

Last time I was working as a "software consultant", talking boring stuff to boring people ;)

It's enough of that.

Dale DeSteno: "Pro-E on steroids"

CATIA V5 (Dassault/IBM) is the direct competitor to Pro-E. Like Coke and Pepsi. And I am the steriod :D

Camaro 2007? May I send sth to Chevy?

Well, Solidworks was probably my next guess...I may have guessed CATIA somewhere in there, down the line.

Either way, LOOKING GOOD!

Very nice! I wish more of the current BMWs looked like that. I like how you foreshadowed the shape of the headlights one and a half years ago - it looks like it would fit right into their lineup today. :up :)

While there are a few things in the details I don't care for, in general you have some coherent designs much better than what Bangle is cranking out right now.

you could also design concept moldings (like for a trans am ) and sell them to people that make fiberglass/carbon fiber parts

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

That’s a great design; I’m very surprised you can’t find car design work being that good with CAITA (+ design ‘flair’) software have you considered freelancing with an agency?

As for a the Master’s degree it can be a two-edged sword, as many employer’s representatives (who don’t have one) will tell you you’re ‘over qualified’ (mostly because you have higher qualifications then they do and they’re worried you’ll take their job) that’s why when I started out the only job offers I had where teaching, so I went freelance and later on after gaining some experience, I started my own company.

Great work, never give up on your dream…

~Hope this helps~

Normally Catia is the wrong system for that kind of work, you have no artistic freedom - you're forced to use giant work-arounds with this program...

It is great from you, giving some of your experience to others. I didn't know that!

Thank you :xyxthumbs
