Looks great but you do realize that not listing your techniques and products used is an automatic ban, right? ;)

BTW, nice wheels! :up

hehe thanks...well i didn't post cause all i did was VM with PC + PoorboysEXpure by hand...it's one of my favorite combos....

Very nice.. not usually a fan of too many Hondas, but I really like that!

What did you use on the tires?

thanks a bunch...means allot coming from and F-body owner...my dad has 2 vettes by the way...i got to drive the hardtop to school yesterday....that thing was insane amounts of fun....

I used Meguiar's High Endurance on the tires...I wanna start using the Meg's hyper dressing.....it does the same job....even lasts as good but comes in gallon sizes for like 25$ or so....

Looks great!! What are your initial impresions of the build quality/integrity of the excels? For the $, they appear to be a great value. IMO, I can't see paying the *real* money for a set of the SSR's on *my* honda. I am all about good quality knock-offs. :D

thanks man......well my initial impression is great.....especially for the money...real SSR GT3s cost like 600 a piece(and SSR is not doing to good right now....you might not even be able to order any right now).....then i'd have to put decent tires on there....so it'd end up being close to 3500$ for rims.....and it's a honda that i drive everyday to school and back....no point in risking that much money just going to school...

my friend had a set of 18" Exel RH C5s that got bent...he let his sister drive and she went on a really bad road...

Nice wheels.

I also applaud you for keeping the car claen looking; no gawdy garphics, wing or gross body kit (yeah, I see the side sills, but they blend pretty well).

Well done :xyxthumbs

This may be the prettiest looking Accord I have seen. :bow

Those new wheels are awesome. Cool and tasteful at the same time.

EXACTLY how i feel.

Hahaha yea its hard for us F body owners to applaud too many Honda's, but I do respect those that are tastefully done as yours is.

My brother had this up until a few months ago:

And traded it in to purchase this:

I hate him..lol

Wow your Accord looks amazing

I've been trying to pitch my mom to dump the minivan and get an Accord like that. I remember sitting in the back while my friend test drove one, and was very impressed with the space. Looking on the reviews on msn.com a frequent problem is the automatic transmission failure which makes me  and second think it.

The rims look great too, lemme guess wheelmax.com?

Direct sun pics are the TRUE test especially on black and yours looks stunning!

Am I the only one that thinks the door reflection on the 1st pics is a little hazy? Maybe you moved the camera?!??

i think that's because the things in the reflection are far away...the camera is focusing on the paint itself and not what is being reflected...i was using a tripod...

thanks for all the compliments...

yea the tires are really close to the fenders....it rubs a bit in the rear....i almost have that taken care of already tho.....i had to trim away a plastic tab on the inside of the bumper mainly...and am gonna have to slightly roll the rear fender for it to be perfect....i love the stance tho...i def don't wanna give it up on account of a little rubbin....

I keep reading about these mysterious automatic trannie failures on Hondas. Haven't seen one yet in the real world. Every brand has it's haters, and Honda gets more and more lately. Some Hondas with 6's in them got recalled for trannie related stuff, but if you don't respond to a recall then expect something to go wrong.

Great Pics ! :xyxthumbs

For a minute there, I thought they were SSRs. I was starting to look into them, but read they're going under.

.....oh, and yes....there are tranny issues in Honda/Acura world :angry

6-7% failure rate and it isn't just the Accords but also TLs and CLs. I believe the problem is inadequate lubrication to the 2-3 gear sets. Several of the models have had the warranty for the transmission extended to 100,000 miles. I personally know a person who went through 3 transmission in his CL Type S. The bad ones tend to go out between 20,000 and 40,000 miles.

ssr is not going out of business. they still have new wheels coming out this year, and are a major producer of wheels for the jgtc cars. you can pretty much count on ssr's always being made because the same company that makes work wheels and a few other companies also makes ssr, so worst case is another company assumes the speed star name.
