To make a short story long…
I registered here a few months ago, have only posted a couple of times, but stop by to read just about every day. I’m not a professional but certainly an enthusiast and after spending time here, am pretty much totally confused but. After all, it took me a while just to figure out that an MF towel was micro-fiber!
After reading posts and seeing results, one thing I was sure I wanted however was a PC, and having seen a number of threads on PC closeouts at Lowes, made it my goal to get one. Consequently, every time I passed a Lowes, I'd run in to see if there were any deals to be had. I must have been in a dozen stores none of which had the PC in stock. Finally, I stop in a Lowes near work and they have one on display…a 7336SP. None in stock and after a system check, none anywhere in the region (which I kind of already knew).
I asked for a deal on the display unit (it was marked as clearance at $101.65…down form $109) since it was missing the box (no big deal), manual (available online), and wrench (I have flat bicycle wrenches that fit). Well, the store manager took another $60 off the price, bringing it down to $41.65. I had a 10% coupon so the final price was $37.49. Not bad!
