My 2006 300C is here!!

^^^^

The SRT-8 has 425 bhp but you have to remember, it's a heavy car! Also, the rear-wheel drive doesn't help for great traction all the time! Made for an interesting drive in the rain that's for sure ;)

I thought it would have done a bit better than that, having felt the pull and power on the highway ... it's a brute of a car either way ... made me giggle everytime I put my foot on the gas.

You can check out my review on www.wheeledge.com ;) Hehehe not that I wanna plug my own writing or anything! Two of us tested it from the mag ... just an awesome car.

I was going to write "Are you kidding? Rear wheel drives are all about power to the ground" and then I realised that you drive a Subaru lol :D

Yup - I'm all for all 4 wheels gripping the road at all times ... but that doesn't mean I can't have fun in the winter ... Subies are pure drifting gold in the snow! :getdown

But back to the topic at hand ... the 300C is a savage car to own whether it's the base model or the SRT-8! Wish I could have another week in it!!!

Hit it up with some Souveran, IMO it is the best look on black paint, period. What polishing steps are you going to do?

As for polishes..........My arsenal has many choices...............I'm leaning towards my Menzerna polishes. IP/FP should do the trick, followed up with some RMG before a layer or 2 of Natty's Blue. 3 days later I'll top with Souveran.

Today, my vacation starts!! The final verdict is in..........I've decided to go the Zaino route for my new 300C's 1st full detail. It'll give me a chance to use my new bottle of Z5Pro for the 1st time. Today's detailing lineup includes: Z7 wash-clay-Z7 wash- Klasse AIO-Z6- followed by 3 layers of Z5Pro using Z8 in between layers.......and ofcourse a final buff with Z8. My session starts this morning in about a 1/2 hour. (7:00 am CST) I"M PUMPED UP!!!!!

My 300C had her first exterior detail today. I took my time & really enjoyed the process, as usual. Even though I'm an admitted carnauba junkie, my choice of using Z5Pro on my black "C" proved to be just what the Doctor ordered! It looks stunning!! I was surprised at how much depth Z5Pro produces as compared to Z5. Plus, Z5 Pro provides a nice balance of flake "pop" & wetness. I was planning on applying 2 layers of Z2Pro Sunday afternoon, but at the moment I'm having 2nd thoughts because the Z5Pro looks so good.

I'm trying to figure out how to upload some pics for all to see. Stay tuned.........

Just to chime back in...........I'm just captivated by this car. I can't stop thinking about it! My girlfriend's getting a little anoyed. (lol) After spending 6+ hours with my new baby today, I sat with a frosty beverage and stared at my car. The lines of this car amaze me. I'm in love!! (lol)

Where are the PICS?!?!

I'm calling BS 'til we get proof! :chuckle:

Hang in there guy's.............I'll try to get some pics up today. The truth is that I haven't taken any pics yet. I promise to take some today. My girlfriend is dragging me to church this morning. ( all I really want to do is worship at the alter of my new "C" & then watch some football today. lol ) I spent all day with my car yesterday so the least I can do is spend some time with my girl today. There's "quality of life" issues, if you know what I mean (lol).

Okay.......I admit it...........I have no clue how to post my car pics on this thread! (lol) A computer wizard, I'm not. If anyone would like to PM me & provide me their email address, I can send you some pics of my new baby. I've loaded the pics from my digital camera to my computer. I just don't know how to post them. I even tried to load one & use it as my customer avatar, but the file is too big.

In typical Autopian fashion, someone has stepped forward to help with the posting of my new 300C pics. Thanks very much joshua!! I owe you one!
