Say goodbye to my '05 Black Tacoma. Move over bacon......It's time for something leaner! (lol) I took the 280 mile drive up to Dallas to close the deal & pick up my new '06 300C. Dallas Dodge has a great promo this month. A free 42" plasma TV with the purchase of any new vehicle purchase. I had a great experience with Dallas Dodge. I worked the deal online with them. Bought the car at invoice........Got a great trade value for my truck & rolled the balance into my 300C. Easy! Kudos to Dallas Dodge. It'll be a week until I go on vacation before I can "bond" (i.e. fully detail) my new "Maffia Mobile". So far, so good. I just had to tell somebody about my new Black bundle of Joy!! Man is it shweet!!!!! :getdown

Congrats, those cars are really tight. How badly did they swirl it up for you? That's cool you got a free plasma TV. Make sure you post pics of it after it is detailed!

Sweet! I got a chance to take a 300C SRT-8 out to play last week, no dealer around. They dropped it off at the hotel for my car club to play with for the day. Fun stuff!

because they don't need to, pretty simple. not a knock on you blktac, i'm just saying. congrats on your new car and have fun with it.

Promos such as the free plasma tv are great tools to drive traffic (footsteps) onto dealer's lots. With so much competition out there, the little things can be the difference between making a sale or not. Dallas Dodge wanted my business & they did a great job of earning it. Living 280 miles southwest of Dallas enabled me to do the deal online. I did my homework before.......They sold me the car at invoice.....gave me $3600.00 over what my 10 day payoff was for my truck which allowed me to roll the $3600.00 towards the price of the car. The amount I'm financing including tax is less than the current Kelly Blue Book value for my new 300C. Plus I got a free 42" plasma tv. I'm pretty happy with how things worked out. It was the easiest new car purchase experience I've ever had. Dealing with a high volume dealer paid off for me this time.

The only problem I'm having is trying to decide which of the many waxes/sealants in my arsenal I'm going to use on her this week...................

Congrats Rob!

My dad got a 300C AWD a couple months ago and is in love with it. I'm sure you will have some great times in it :).

I've the first year model of this car midnite blue color, it's fun to drive plus the HEMI in 300C is sweet. No fore-thought,no hesitation when it's time to pass. The accelaration is amazing. I love this car, I was one of the few to own it before it hit the show room. Two years have passed with 29,000 miles yet I still love this ride.. reliable yes, solid as ever. There is a lot of mercedes technology in this car- steering columm and cotrols are from mercedes, so are transmission and the Manumatic feature in mercedes. This car is unlike anything ever built by Chrysler. The cabin is quiet, especially on the freeway. Because of the touring suspension this car agile for a sedan drive up the hills and watch it soar. I can tell you that you bought yourself a good car. Congrats welcome to the 300C class.

Thanks, ecodetail! I'm just blown away by this car. It's been a long time since I've been this impressed by an American made car. Over the past 10 years or so, I've gone the Nissan,Honda & Toyota route. But the 300C has brought me back to good ole Uncle Sam!

My vacation starts saturday (9/30/06) and I'll try to get some pics of my new 300C up for all to see. I just have to figure out how to do it. I've tried in the past, but the file is always too big. Stay tuned............

As of now, I'm torn between Pink Wax, Natty's Blue or Souveran for my first "bonding session". I might even go the sealant route.....Z5 Pro/Z2 Pro. Too many choices. (lol)

Seriously, hope you enjoy your new 300C!! They definitely do have the mafia thing going on, but it looks mean to me.

I test drove the SRT-8 a few months ago and :shocked does it ever have power! Great looking cars though, the 300C's ... it was a treat to role around on those 20" rims for a whole week!!

Congrats on the purchase! Great choice!! :goodjob

there was one at the track in portland hitting 13.7's consistently. no slouch at all, but I thought it was faster than that?
