My 2004 Cadillac CTS-V

So I bought a Menzerna Car Care Kit a while ago and some of the polishes to go with it. Over the Memorial Day Weekend, I decided to use the line up on my Cadillac CTS-V which is almost a year old. Sorry, but I didn't get any before pics, just after pics. Here is the process I used:

Wash and clay with Meg Shampoo Plus
Scratch-X on the door handles etc where it was bad
Intensive Polish
Final Polish II
Finishing Touch Glaze
Full Molecular Jacket
Meg Endurance High Gloss on the tires

Took a while, but it was well worth it. The car shined more than when I picked it up off the lot. However, I am still trying to fight the swirls that the dealership left in the paint. Black is way too hard to keep clean, but I try my best.

Your car looks great. I'm getting ready to do my car and doing a similar process. I just need to get myself prep for an all day event.
 
Thanks to everyone for the comments. I love the car too!! It is fast as hell and gets all kinds of turned heads, people wanting to try to race, etc. However, I am less than pleased with the GM customer service I have gotten so far. When American car companies figure out how to take care of their customers the way the foreign ones do, I will buy another American made car, until then, my next vehicles will be foreign made...

It was a valliant effort on the part of Cadillac to put out such a powerful car, but IMO, they missed the mark on a couple issues and don't back up their product. But, that is probably news for a different forum.

Damn that's a sweet looking ride. Those are very nice pictures and the detail looks excellent.

The next time you polish her up try some Menzerna P085RD in place of FPII. I think it does a bit better on mild scratches & marring, and the gloss is unreal. With a rotary, you'll get a near perfect finish.

I do not own a rotary and have never used one. Would you still recommend the PO85RD for use with the PC?? I don't think I would be comfortable stepping up to a rotary, especially on a car that I paid over 50K for less than a year ago (first purchase after starting my first job out of college). I would hate to have to repaint her. Since I am NOT a professional detailer, I think I will be sticking with the PC. Still, if the PO85RD would work better with the PC I would give it a try...
 
Sweet ride, the black is damn hard to detail but when u do it right , its just amazing !!!
