My 2001 Prelude

This is my ride, it's about 6 years old, which I've installed some swirles by using the brush at the coin operated wash during the winter months.

My usual exterior detail was to wash with a soft brush very similar the body brush, I've also CB every spring and fall and just use Jetwax to finish.

Now I know better and got a little brave/foolish to use my second and third time on my car with the 7428.

Second time Rotary:

Wash with Eagle One

Clayed with Mothers

1200rpm LC white with SSR1

EX-P

Collinite 4762

Left some light holograms, pretty hard to see since it's Pearl White you'll have to move your head from side to side quickly in the right lighting condition to see it.

The whole car is like this.

Third time Rotary: On the hood and trunk only.

Wask with EO

Lowest rpm on the 7428 with LC orange SSR2

Lowest rpm LC white SSR1

EX-p

Collinite 4762

Holograms removed and about 98% swirl free

Hood and trunk only

I think you left holograms because LC white is so hard to use via rotary. I get better results with softer ones like Propel, easy to use and amazing results.

Did you work the polish until it went clear?

HondaGuy: yeah, Idon't take it to those coin wash anymore.

maesal: I did on my third time around and probably didn't on my second time around.

I'm diggin' the LED tails. Always have had a thing for 5th gen Preludes. Keep up the great work. Nice pics, too.

I tried that but I couldn't see'em....I even took my laptop into the kitchen (under the halogens) ...still looked good to me :chuckle: :chuckle:

RET :2thumbs:

PS

I may have kinked my neck though.

:think2 Ahh, there's the problem, you'll have push slighty on the screen of your laptop when viewing that picture.
