My 1985 CJ7

Well, to start off, I have been coming to the text for awhile now and have been meaning to post these pictures. I first found autopia when I was trying to bring some life back to my CJ's paint. I am in college and my jeep is at home. I asked my mom to wash it every now and then and she said she would, but I did not realize that she would wash it with ivory soap :wall Anyway, I found a post with a red truck that had the same pink affect and how the guy used Klasse All-In-One which took care of all the oxidation. So I bought a PC and the Klasse twins and went at it.

Needless to say AIO strikes again... I decided not to dress the tries mainly because it’s a jeep and it doesn't matter. I was selling my jeep when I got finished so I didn't polish because I liked the results well enough. I also touched up some of the black parts with an anti-rust black paint. Overall it wasn’t my best job but I like the results, and I ended up with more money than I thought I would sell it for so I was happy. Thanks for all the help autopia!

Looks nice. You would be able to get more depth out of it if you clayed first then AIO and SG. Claying after the AIO probally removed all of it. Still a very nice improvement.

Tucci: yeah, I thought about that. The reason I clayed after AIO is that I knew if I clayed first it would take a lot of clay and because clay is not cheap I just went with the AIO first.

Scottwax: I really couldn't believe how well AIO cut through the oxidation. Once I finish the rest of my AIO I think I will try some of Jeff's (Jeffswerkstatt.com) products. I read a couple of the reviews (one by you) and the prime and jett look like some really good new products.

Thanks for the comments guys!
