My '08 WRX

I picked up my '08 WRX on Friday. Then had to go to the endodontist to have a root canal redone... I was done for the rest of the day on Friday.

Saturday morning I got up and inspected the car. The dealer decided to install a fair amount of swirl marks before I picked it up... Sorry, I didn't take any before pics.

Clayed with Sonus Green clay and ONR. I used a white edge pad on my hitachi rotary with SIP to start, followed up with Prime Acrylic on blue edge pad with the PC and then hit it with AJT. I left it sit over night and today I did a wipe down with 425 and applied a coat of Collinite 845. Treated the wheels and door jams with OS and CD2 under the hood. It was getting dark, but here's a few pics. It's really bright in the sun, but right now I'm just after protection for the winter.

Awesome job. That blue color looks good and very wet. I really like the new Subaru grill. Looks great on WRX.
 
Thanks for the comments and compliments guys...

I love the color... I've had so many black cars in the past and wanted something bright that shines. I tried going to 106ff instead of SIP, but I just couldn't get it to cooperate. I also tried Megs 83 with no luck so I had to break out SIP. It was the first time I used Prime Acrylic and AJT. I was very impressed with both. I really like 845 on bright colors!!! I'm gonna wait a week and then put another coat on it. I wish it wasn't so close to winter, I wanted to top it with either 50/50 or Signature... Guess I can look forward to trying them in the spring!

It drives real nice!! Handles great & it really is pretty quick. Supposed to be a low 14 second car stock. It's actually pretty comfortable too!!!
