True aircraft inspired car, I found the article and everything interesting so thought I'd share it taking an interest in planes as well as cars.

Typical journalist. Kinda just makes things up to fit his thesis. This Mustang is a one off buily and decorated to resemble the WW II paint scheme (including the nose art pinup girl on the fender). The only "aviation design influence" ever inferred for the Mustang design is the NAME. That's why you don't get it; it is not there. LOL



This Mustang is to be auctioned off to raise money for charity and has aircraft inspired graphics and interior elements. I don't know what the result was this year, but the decorated Mustang last year went for $500,000. Here is an article with more details. (Can you tell this brings my interest in history and in Mustangs together? LOL)
