First up, the 300M

Very well kept for and did this customer last year. I was VERY VERY upset to see buffer trailing on the hood. When I left last year, there were none. I guess this is another reason why I don't use Meguiar's polishes anymore :o . Anyways, lots of random scratches from the winter but the swirls weren't too bad. I got about 95% of the stuff out but the hood was VERY pitted, unfortunately. Final processes:

-Optimum Compound via rotary and LC Cutting Pad/Wool Pad @ 1200 rpm
-Final Polish II via rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm (some VERY light haze left due to the extreme heat...FPII wasn't good enough in the sun and left the pad dry, so....)
-Optimum Polish via rotary and LC Finishing Pad @ 1500 rpm
-Zaino Z5 by hand
-OCW by hand

-Flitz on the wheels (amazing chrome polish BTW!), exhaust, license plate covers, and grille
-Turbo Wax Tire Gel on tires
-Hyper Dressing cut 3:1 in the wells

Onto the Cobra. It belongs to my dad and is a garage queen. No rain or snow for those Potenza S-03's :).

The paint was free of any bonded contaminants but had some light swirling throughout. I was just gonna polish the hood (worst part) and then PwC everything, but I was far too impressed with FPII on this color. So in the end,

-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm
-TOL's Trade Secret spit shined with Turbo Wax QD

-Flitz to polish wheels, exhaust, and grille
-Hyper Dressing in wells cut 3:1
-Poorboy's BnB on tires
-Poorboy's TR on trim

Enjoy ;).

Good job... the Cobra looks great! I'm glad you liked the FPII on that darker color, because that's what I ordered for my black Explorer!

Excellent job :bigups

So I guess you're a big fan of the Flitz ball, eh? I've been thinking about ordering one, I might just do that now!

Bump.

"Flitz on the wheels (amazing chrome polish BTW!), exhaust, license plate covers, and grille"

Tell me more about Flitz! Is anyone else using it? I'm considering it for my STS wheels, then sealing them with PB's wheel sealer.

p.s. -Killer looking details! I used to have a 300M, and I can tell you the wheels didn't even look close to that.

John: Flitz is 'da bomb'. It is a chemical polish that blows away the cleaning power of Klasse AIO. It leaves a very deep look to any surface used on and leaves some protection behind. Stop by Ace Hardware to pick up a small bottle. It is my *go-to* metal polish.

Great on yellowed headlights too!
