Must haves from Chemical Guys?

I LOVE there leather cleaner and cond, Bare Bones, CG5050 and liq extreme shine. Just got another gallon!!!!!

I HATE there Grime Reaper..I have almost (1) gallon left and have not used it in 2 years.

If I may ask, what do you not like about Grim Reaper? I have been kinda wanting to try it out, since I have had such good luck with their other products.

I've the SCG Grime Destroyer and PBW Bug Squash. Should I still be considering the grime reaper?

I've heard that JS isn't all that durable and doesn't help with the look. True? I'm used to OOS, DG 501, and WG sealant.

What can the leather conditioner be compared to? I use 1Z ledepfledge, 4 star, and Optimum protectant

Liquid extreme shine - Any better than OCW and 4 star spray wax plus?

5050 - Better than paste waxes that are cheaper (DP MW, XXX, Natty's)?

Thanks guys.

let's hope that it's not a guy *feels disgusted* (pretty sure it's a female)! besides, i'm sure paul/chemical guys wouldn't post pics of he/she's on their website and he most certainly wouldn't want to see it...

I just got some Bug and Tar Strong Wash, Ill report back tommorow!

Skip this stuff. It makes a decent strong car wash, but to actualy remove bugs and tar you have to mix it up much stronger than the directions say.

On the web site it says the Citrus Wash Clear is a daily wash shampoo that will not strip waxes and sealants?

I ordered their "Citrus Wash Daily with Maxisuds 2" and got "Citrus Wash Clear".. is this the same product?

both the citrus wash clear and citrus wash & gloss can be used as daily wash, as long as you use the correct dilution. most like the citrus wash clear because there in no glossing agents...

I just called them and they said the "Citrus Wash Daily" and the "Citrus Wash Clear" is the same product. They said it will not strip wax/sealants and is perfectly gentle for everyday washing.

As BigAl3 said, the CW&G has glossing agents and the CW&C does not. Used at stronger dilution ratios, CW&C is used to strip any sealants, wax, etc. Actually the CW&G used a higher ratio will strip everything as well but you're left with the glossing agents which need to removed with an IPA wipedown.

So I just ordered a gallon of CWG, does this mean everytime I use it on a car I will have to do an IPA wipedown and then apply my products? THanks

Whis9 -- you wouldn't use CWG at full strength every time you wash the car. Most of the time, 0.5oz (1tbsp or 1cap) is enough for 1-2 gallons. To strip wax and sealants, use 2oz per gallon.
