Mullet Wax Wash

Used my tried and true Mullet Wax Awesome Wash n' Wax today for the first time in a few months. As I said once before, this stuff totally rocks. It is by far the most suds I've seen, and the lubrication is also great when the suds start to wear down. When you get to the final 1/4 of the bucket, jet more water in and the suds arise and stay there!

The water just sheets off the car.

Just thought I would bring up a product again that hasn't got much talk about it lately, and to see when I can get more!

FROM JANUARY 13th, 2004, here is my original review:

Awesome Wash and Wax
This stuff is BY FAR the best soap I have used, and I have used quite a few! I have never seen a car soap regenerate suds quite like this one. I dropped the recommended 1-2 ounces into a 3.5gallon bucket. I then began to detail the wheels and tires. Well, they were a bit worse than expected, so before I was able to start washing, 45 minutes had passed. I am a big fan of the Adam’s Polishes and Zymol car soaps, but when waiting this long, I no longer had suds with these. I came back to the Mullet Wash and didn’t see hardly any suds. I did my usual and shook the hell out of my wash mitt, and WOW, the suds instantly appeared……and then more appeared! I had suds once again! The lubrication was just as good if not better than the above, which gave me confidence that I wasn’t doing any damage. This is probably one of the best smelling soaps I have used also.

It rinsed incredibly fast and did not leave wet spots behind. After the final rinse, I took it for a spin just up the street and back. Most of the water had slid off, then I decided to try the HUGE Mullet MF towel. I typically use a Waffle Weave MF towel to dry, but this thing is big enough to use out of the shower!! It was incredibly soft, and did the job right!

Where did you find your January 13th post at? I thought we lost all the threads from November to March or something like that. :dunno

I'm glad that MW wash has stood the test of time for your reviews. The goal of creating that stuff was to produce the kind of results that you experienced. I wanted to make the car as smooooooth as possible as quickly as possible, so we started with the wash. Its the carnauba in it that makes it so smooooooooooth. :naughty

I saved it in Word since it was a long, two-day review. I just copy and pasted from the long version. It still smells awesome as well! Use the Awesome Spray Wax afterwards and the chicks just can't resist.

Ah..... smart move. I hate that we lost so many posts around here. We lost at least 20,000 individual posts. We had nearly all of the Mullet Wax reviews lost. :boohoo Google never even got to see how smooooth it really was. Oh well..... We are back up and better than ever. :bigups We may have lost the Mullet Wax reviews, but it still sold really well. Most of it went to people who weren't even on Detail City. I usually get 4 or 5 emails a week asking where they can get more. lol I need to whip up a 55 gallon drum and offer refills or something. Free refills if you are a lady. :naughty

Right now I don't know that I've got any left. I'd have to check the secret detailing product reserve that I keep in my underground bunker. :naughty I don't think I've got enough to sell through PAC. I supposed if there is a demand for it then I could always see what I could do about whipping up a batch. Maybe I could take preorders. :naughty
